Stitch Hoop
A tap-to-plan embroidery puzzle: tap needles from four thread trays around a hoop and stitch a picture onto the cloth one stitch at a time. Each needle sweeps only its own side, so plan which one to use and what to park on the pincushion. Fill the cloth and it is revealed as a framed embroidery. Play right in your browser. (Korean title: 수틀)
Key Features
- Which side, which needle: The trays sit on four sides and each needle sweeps only its own side. The same color can give very different results depending on the needle you pick, so looking a few taps ahead is the fun.
- A 5-slot pincushion: A needle that cannot stitch goes to the pincushion. When all 5 slots are full you are stuck, and then you can undo or use a hint.
- 5 worlds, 100 pictures: Five cloth worlds (cotton, ramie, hemp, silk and gold thread) hold 100 pictures, growing from 8x8 to 16x16 grids. Three special needles (Twin, Corner and Round) join one by one.
- Today's picture and Free Stitch: Today's picture is set by the date, so everyone gets the same one. Free Stitch is endless and no picture repeats. No server and no sign-up.
- A wall and 24 looks: Finished embroideries hang on your wall. Coins buy 24 looks for needles, cloths, frames and pincushions. There are no random draws or loot boxes, and nothing to pay for to progress.
How to Use
- Tap one of the front two needles on a tray at the screen edge. Press and hold to preview where it will stitch.
- The tapped needle sweeps along its side and stitches the matching squares it meets.
- A needle that cannot stitch goes to the 5-slot pincushion. Plan ahead before it fills.
- Fill the cloth and the picture is revealed in a frame. On a computer, use the mouse.
How It Works
The rules are code kept apart from the screen, and every picture is checked automatically to be solvable. Our Js drew the needles, cloths, frames, screens and the icon in code, and all sound effects and music are synthesized in code. Of the 100 pictures, 33 (campaign and Daily pictures) were made with generative AI (Google Gemini), then reduced to the stitch grid and checked one by one by our Js; the rest are pixel art drawn by our Js. AI tools were also used during development. Fonts such as Gowun Batang, Gowun Dodum, Lora and Nunito are under the SIL Open Font License.
Where to Access

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there ads?
There are no ads on the game screens of the jworld.dev web version. Ads may appear on the intro page only. Portal and app versions show a rewarded ad only when you tap a bonus button such as a hint or undo.
Do I need to install or sign up?
No. It runs right in your browser, and your stars, coins and wall are saved only in that device's browser. Clearing browser data clears them.
Is the art made with AI?
Partly. 33 of the 100 pictures were made with generative AI (Google Gemini), then reduced and checked by our Js. The other pictures, the needles, cloths, frames and screens are drawn by our Js, and AI tools were used during development.
Is there a mobile app?
The Google Play app is in review, and the App Store and TikTok versions are in preparation. We will announce them on this page when they are out.
