Key Features
- AI ladder: 20 opponents wait on a map: 10 levels in gomoku and 10 in janggi. Beat one to unlock the next, and earn up to three stars per opponent with goals such as winning without undo or winning as White.
- Daily puzzle: One gomoku puzzle (make five within n moves) and one janggi puzzle (checkmate within n moves) every day. Each game has 120 puzzles, and every one was checked by the engine to have a single solution.
- Two players, one device: Sit across from a friend with one phone or tablet. Undo is unlimited in two-player games.
- Your rules: Gomoku offers 3 rule sets (free, no 3-3 and renju without opening rules) with forbidden points marked and blocked. Janggi offers all 4 starting setups, bikjang on or off and move limits.
- Styles without loot boxes: 28 boards, piece sets and stone sets: 4 are free from the start and the other 24 cost a fixed number of coins earned in play. No random draws and no payments on the web.
How to Use
- Pick gomoku or janggi, then choose the AI ladder, the daily puzzle or two-player mode.
- On the ladder, start with the first opponent on the map and work your way up.
- Change gomoku rules, janggi setups, large text or bold lines in the settings.
- Wins earn stars and coins; spend coins on board and piece styles.
How It Works
Designed from the start with no ads during a game, at its start or on loading screens. The rules are written apart from the screen and checked by automated tests, and AI strength is measured by letting the AIs play each other. Our Js drew the boards, pieces, stones and icon in code; only the faces of the 20 AI opponents were made with generative AI (Google Gemini), then picked and edited by our Js. AI tools were also used during development.

Play instantly in a phone or computer web browser, no install needed. The game is available in Korean and English.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there ads?
There are no ads during a game, at its start or on loading screens. The web version currently has no in-game ads at all; if ads are added later, they will only come after a game ends or as optional bonuses you choose.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It has no violence, no gambling and no random loot boxes, and is made for all ages.
Who drew the opponents' faces?
The faces of the 20 AI opponents were made with generative AI (Google Gemini) and picked and edited one by one by our Js. This is also noted on the in-game info screen.
Where is my progress stored?
Stars, coins and styles are saved only in your device's browser. To improve the game we send anonymous play statistics only (games played, time taken and so on).
